SOWP should I stop working

Hello everyone,

I am a a student and I will complete my studies this Dec and will be applying for PGWP in the month of Jan.

My Spouse have an SOWP valid till April 2023. Should she stop working while I am applying for PGWP?

Really confused of different answers from different people.

Please let me know the information.

Even though your studies have completed.. if she has SOWP validity beyond december then she can continue working.

If you are applying PGWP and can extend the open work permit( based on your eligibility) then you can also try applying pgwp and open work permit extension together.. and update the payslips later..Ive seen few ppl do it and had no issue.
