Working after completing placement before applying for work permit

Hi,

As an international student I was wondering if I can work part time till I apply for work permit, or do I need to stop working as per the college's mentioned course completion. As my study permit expires in September of this year, does that mean I can work part time till I apply for work permit, or should I stop as per the course completion.

You stop once you have course completion and start work when you apply for PGWP. Your study permit expires 90 days after course completion.

Once you get the transcript from your college, it means you have completed the course.

You stop working immediately. You apply for work permit with the transcript and you can start working immediately after you apply for the work permit.
