I did not get any email confirmation after submitting cse. How about you?
Also, did you submit a paper application??

Even I didn't get any kind of email confirmation regarding cse.
Yes, its a paper application.
 
Another friend of mine applied for SOWP at Chandigarh on 6th June 2016, paper based.
Nothing yet.
But he emailed at info.canada@vfshelpline.com and he said he got a reply saying its still in process.
 
FYI, processing time is again changed to 10 weeks (which was previously 9 weeks).
Fingers crossed and hope for the best. :-X

Do I need to update CIC about change in my address (inside Canada) in my wife's SOWP application in Chandigarh India office?

My present address is mentioned in the invitation letter, and statement of intent/cover letter by my wife. I am moving to another apartment in Canada next month i.e. September, 2016. There is no communication or mail required to my address as the mailing address for my wife application is India's address.
Please suggest if anyone has been through such situation.

We thought of doing the same thing. But again, Who knows if its close to completion, since we've waited so long already. Its been 7 months now.

It is really frustrating to keep waiting in the dark without knowing how much longer its gonna take or not hearing back from visa processing centre.

Does anyone know if going to canadian consulate general in person would be of any help?
 
I applied for my wife's OWP on july 11, 2016. No medical. No update at all. Let us do something to help ourselves. Did anyone try calling the embassy? Or can anyone tell if visiting in person helps at all as the other person said?

Did you applied online or paper application?
 
I am not sure whats going on with chd vfs. Few months ago it was 4 months wait but now it seems like it's been extended to 8 months. Pretty frustrating for people who are going through this :(
