Hi,

I got my COPR and entry visa. I would like to travel to Canada for a day, land, and come back. Would this work?
The reason is that the guide says "You should wait until you have your PR card to travel outside of Canada after you landed. Otherwise, you will have to apply for a PR Travel Document ... before you can reenter."

If you're going to re-enter from the US by private transport (eg. driving your car, sailing in your boat, or just walking across the border), you wouldn't need the PRTD. You can just enter with your passport and CoPR. You'd need a PRTD if you re-enter via public transport (bus, train, flight, ferry, etc.).

That's interesting. I might be in such a situation later this year. Could you share any official links to confirm this info?
