We are looking to apply under the FSTP if my husband gets an approved LMIA from his potential employer.
As he has been self employed since completing his qualifications does anyone have advice for self employed 3rd party references since he doesn't have an employer.
We have thought of some past clients to ask to write a reference about what work he did and when. Some larger companies he subcontracted to as well.
Would there be any other people we should ask? Suppliers etc?
The description in the instructions is vague on what the 3rd party self employed letter should say so does anyone have experience of what we need to ask people to include in their letters?
How many would be acceptable? We think we can get maybe 7-8 references to cover the period he has been self employed plus all the other business docs to prove he was in business, I.e tax returns, financial accounts, webpages, adverts, registrations etc
