My friend needs some help with getting placed in her preferred SINP stream - here's the problem she's having:

"I am currently a post graduate work permit holder and have been working in a software company in Saskatoon for over a year. I applied under Saskatchewan nominee program International skilled worker with employment offer , but my application was refused.

They placed me in the wrong nomination stream, as their portal does not have a definite way of selecting the stream that I would like to enter but instead placed me in the stream that they think I fit best based on my answers to their initial application questions. The stream that they placed me is Existing work permit category which I am not eligible as it says in their application guide that it is not for PGWP. So I am not sure why they placed me in that category. When I emailed them they told me that I answered "Yes" to work permit and that is why I was placed in that stream.

I need some guidance as I am not sure if I am doing something wrong."

Would appreciate some help from those familiar with the system. Thanks!

Select No to the related occupation and PGWP question and it will put you on with job offer category. I got my nomination 2 weeks after submitting on OASIS

Thanks for the response mf4361.

She did select no to that question before getting placed in the wrong stream (existing work permit category):

"Do you currently have a job offer? Yes

Do you have a SINP Job Approval Letter? Yes

Are you working in an occupation related to your post-secondary education on a valid post-grad work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada? No

Are you currently working for the employer that has offered you full-time employment in Saskatchewan? Yes

Have you worked for the employer that has offered you full-time employment for at least 6 months? Yes

I am working in: In a skilled occupation (NOC level 0, A, or B) or a designated trade on a valid work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada"

This was my answers

Do you currently have a job offer?
No

So it's the last question that we got wrong. Thanks mf4361, +1!
