Hey, everyone,

I've just recieved nomination from SINP and would like to share my timeline:
ITA - 25.09.2019
AOR - 15.11.2019
In process - 05.12.2019
Invoice tab disappeared - 10.12.2019
Funds conversion date changed/Invoice tab reappeared - 12.12.2019
NOMINATION - 13.12.2019

Even though my reference letter didn't meet the SINP requirements (no duties and responsibilities), I had no ADR. However, to provide the required information, I attached so called "Job descrition" - a vague and poorly written document, which is issued in our organization when you get hired or promoted to another position. But it seems like SINP officers were satisfied with it. In addition, I also attached a document from pension fund (as governement issued) and tax return for 2018 (also government issued).

I know another person who aslo was nominated just 1 month after submission. Besides, if you check immitracker, there are many more cases like that. So it seems like not only they updated their program rules in September, but also hired new officers (or maybe just found another way to speed up the process), which makes everything quicker. Hopefully, after they get more statistics on recent nominations, we will see an update of their processing time from 41 weeks to 4-6 weeks!
congrats buddy!!

Hi ashuindian,

I have recently received the ITA from SINP. However, while filling out the educational details I have claimed full 23 points. My ECA says Post Graduate Diploma and Bachelors. This qualifies as 2 or more degrees in EE profile, but this option wasn’t there in SINP application.

Kindly let me know, if the education will be considered as Masters or will they reject my application?

Thanks in anticipation,

Hello all,
I applied on 17/11/2019 against my ITA which was received on 25/09/2019, my current job comprises 8 months of experience which is excluded in the demand list (NOC 1111) however rest of the years about 6 years is in the demand list (NOC1311), i submitted my application with complete documentation included my close relative points (brother) documents.
But I am concerned as they mentioned most recent years of exprience must be from one occupation, so my question is, will they simply reject my application or recalculate the points and evaluate the essence of the same?

You can't get 23 Points, because don't have ECA for Master's degree.

My score was 80 and i claimed only 5 years and included 1 year more with 0 points just to cover my intended occupation NOC. I am just confused since i am working in this job from feb 2019 and my NOC is 1111 which is exluded occupation, and experience beyond feb 2019 is included in the demand list from 2012 till feb 2019. I only claimed 5 years though

the reason i asked your score is to confirm that you have enough points mate!

SINP rule is that you can only claim experience in a single NOC code. What was the NOC code you selected at time of EOI submission ?

I selected NOC1311 and claimed the points for NOC 1311 (Accounting Technician & Bookkeppers) from September 2013 till February 2019 then I changed my job and my experience turned to NOC 1111, so 4 and half years of the experience is with NOC1311 and the recent job experience is NOC1111.....

this should not be an issue as you have already submitted application with required documentation ( experience letters or proof ) on 17 November. Anything after that period doesn't really matter only to this specific ITA. Just be patients for the nomination :)

worst case scenario, if due to some reason you don't get nominated and consider to apply again with same EOI in next 2-3 months, you can either claim for NOC 1311 - 4 years or NOC 1111 - 1 year as you can only claim experience in a single NOC. hopefully this is clear enough :)

good luck

just keep in mind if experience in NOC is for duration of 8 months, it cannot be claimed as 1 year. if it's 4 year 6 months, it cannot be claimed as 5 years. I know it's not fair but Saskatchewan officers are strict!

Best of luck mate! :)
