But It doesnt match the JD and designation fully with 2147. what should be done

I have a EE enrolled with NOC 2171. But 60% of my overall experience have job duties matches with NOC 2173. I can see 2171 is not included in the OID list.Please advice if am eligible to submit my EOI? My assessment with SNIP eligibility grid is 67. Any advice would be highly helpful...

I changed my NOC 2173 as 60 - 70% job description matches my profile.And my initial job experience around 6 years completely comes under 2173.

Please go ahead and apply for NOC 2171 as it has received maximum nominations in Nov and Dec intake.
SINP tool is accepting application for SINP EE and SINP OID. Go ahead and submit the application.

Hello Mani,

For NOC 2171, Bachelor of Engineering OR Masters in Engineering is a MUST and they will not accept BCom degree.
Iam also not sure whether they will accept business administration (BBA),Your friend has a BCOM Degree, hence it was rejected.

As per NOC Guide

Employment requirements
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration (BBA) or a related discipline


We are active members of Whatapp group and people with NOC 2171 and Bachelor of Engineering degree with Computers,Electrical and Electronics have been provided with Nomination.

My Case: I have done Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation Engineering and present Application is "In Process" for Dec 15 Intake.
After my application was reviewed by SINP, they have asked me pending documents of Updated Proof of funds and my Sons passport.

I received ITA on 17th OCT under NOC Code: 2171 SINP EE, Total points 68

My current job title is IT Manager (NOC code 0213) past 1.6 yrs however I have experience under NOC code: 2171 for previous years (6.5 yrs) total 8yrs. My question is whether experience in related NOC codes like 0213 & 2171 is considered or it has to be in same code for entire 10 yrs? while creating EE profile I declared NOC 0213 & 2171

Also if I claimed points for 10 yrs, can I submit work reference letters only for 8.5 yrs ?

Yes. If all the jobs are continuous without any gap (1 week gap acceptable)

Thank you ashu for your valuable comment. How should we justify the work experience for 1 month ? Will a reference letter be sufficient enough to convince the visa Officer ?
