SINP - NOC 2171 - Information systems analysts and consultants

Hello everyone and thanks for taking time to read this post.

I would like to know if anyone has positive assessment for NOC 2171 with B.Com. It seems for this NOC we need to have bachelors in CS or business administration. I just want to know if Delhi University B.Com can be evaluated as BBA . I am not able to find that info anywhere. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Background
I have a B.Com plus GNIIT (I understand that cannot be evaluated but mentioning to share my background) and more than 10 years of "outside canada" exp in that NOC. I have IELTS 7.5 (S 7.0, L 8.0, R 8.0 and W 7.0). I do have vendor certifications in my field.

Generally they don't accept Non-Technical educated for this NOC. They mention MBA as qualification, but many guys have rejected.
You can choose NOC 0714 for SINP. Have to arrange strong Reference Letters related to this.

The NOC says bachelors in business administration is also acceptable. I don't consider that as a technical degree related to Software Engineering. This tells me that if I can some how get my B.Com evaluated as BBA I should be able to go for that NOC and that is what I am trying to figure out here if anyone had any luck with getting their BCom evaluated to BBA. I am pretty sure lot of NOC have that BBA as a requirement.

B.Com is equal to Bachelor of Business Administration according to WES.. Go ahead.. You will be successful..

One more thing - I am only able to get 396 points if I file myself as primary and add my wife (MS from US) for FSWP. She has not taken IELTS yet. Even if she takes I can only get max 20 for her english. If I put her as primary our score gets even lower than 396 with an assumption she is getting CLB 8/IELTS 6.5.

I know for sure she has to take IELTS to increase our score count and if I file myself as primary I can only get max 20 points so 416 and making her primary with hypothetical result (S 7, L 8, W 7, R 8) gets us at 438?

Do you think we should even bother filing for FSWP with this much score count?

And if no then what other options do we have? may be ontario express entry?

Hello,

I have similar question. I am bachelors in commerce from Delhi university and msc in international management from uk. I working as SAP consultant and having 4 years of work exp in 2171 but i also got to know that many of 2171 requests with commerce academics who are applying for canada PR are getting rejected.

Is there any success for someone in commerce or management profile in 2171? Please share your ideas , feedback and experiences.

I have 15 yrs of work experience in IT with major big companies in India, Europe and USA. I have passed B.com in 2001 and complete Masters in Computer science in 2009. I had started my IT career right after my B.Com graduation.

I have ECA as follows:
1) 4 years bachelor in Commerce degree
2) 1 year Master of science degree with focus on computer science.

My question is:

Should I submit all work experience right after my B.Com until today or should I submit my work experience after my masters until today ?
During the early days I see that my job duties match as NOC 2171, 2174
I am just nervous if they will reject my B.com education as not matching with Noc 2171, 2173 and 2174. But since last 5 years I am working as Software development Manager NOC 0213, which states the following qualification:

Employment requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, commerce or engineering is usually required.
• Several years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design or computer programming, including supervisory experience, are required.

Please let me know if I am safe to apply as NOC 0213 ?

Don't show Computer Sales anywhere. It is totally separate and different noc for that .qa
you can apply for NSNP DEMAND EE CATEGORY B without job offer category.
This noc is in Nova Scotia Demand list. Your 70 % job duties must match with their expected showing in the link

Besides, computer NOCs 2174, 2281, 2282 are also in Nova Scotia list. You can choose the right one.

Demand pnp is only in Saskatchewan. SINP OID sub category is suitable for you. But noc 2171 is not in their Occupation list. Only computer related NOCs 2147, 2173 and 2175 are in their list. These NOCs are regulated their . For 2147 getting license takes 1 year and 2173 , 2175 takes 6 months.
Min. 70% job duties must match with their expected duties showing in website. First choose the right noc.
If you are self employed then have to present as much as possible related documents which show your ownership and matching duties like work orders, business card, quotations, municipal corporation and company registration ,your manager or other officer Reference letter etc. Thereby believing them

Are there two different links to create profile under SINP EE and SINP OID? Also, noc code 2171 is no longer visible in SINP demand list codes. Is it removed by the province?

They can reject your application.
Noc 2147 is the best.

If you get an ECA for your wife’s education that will give you additional CRS points.
