Guys i am looking for your advice, I am SINP OID Jan intake applicant and today I received one email stating that I am ineligible because my work experience is not matching with the applied NOC-2211, its matching with NOC 2134, which is not in occupation in demand list. I have work experience with two employers At the time when I submitted the application, in Jan-2016 I attached the work experiences which are more applicable to NOC 2134, and in Feb I sent the experience letter to SINP from one employer which is more applicable to 2211. And now I have both experience letters which are applicable to 2211, should I send them the experience letter and ask for 2nd review? Experts please advise

Hi,

In case you have strong proof and evidence then sure go for second review. I myself asked for a second review which resulted in nomination.

Good luck!

Sookie85, how long did it take you to get the decision for your second review?

Dear all....sinp requested docs on 3 may 2016...... submitted updated settlement fund docs on 5 may 2016 as requested by sinp.....status changed to in process from waiting on applicant again on same day.

Statements uploaded in application on 5 may 2016.

But no status update by then..... How much I have to wait now???

Hello Experts,

I have a question regarding work experience.

I have 5 years of experience in NOC 2171 in one to five years and 2 years of experience in NOC 2174 in six to ten years.

SI has updated the in-demand-occupation list on 6th May, in which NOC 2174 was removed.

Now I am claiming 10 points for NOC 2171 but should I get 2 points for NOC 2174 (removed OID)?

Your response is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hope this will clear doubt of others too.

Hi,

If you have already applied on January 2016 and your application has been accepted, then no need to worry. The new changes will take effect for the new intakes only.

Good luck!

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

No, I am talking about new intake applicants.

NOC 2174 is out of question for you if you are looking forward to apply in future. you have to apply under accepted NOC 2171 and claim ONLY 10 points.

Fund conversion is useless. My fund converted and changed In process same day, 28th April. But meaningless.

Funds conversion is not a progress indicator. It can be done yourself before submitting your application but if you left it then it will be done by file handling officer. I did mine myself and did not notice any funds conversion during the entire process.
