Whether you wait or not, the decision is made already. Just be patient. You can send the CSE at anytime. Ensure you indicate urgent in your enquiry. Cheers
Yes Dreamer. Just be patient. I dont see being in hurry at this stage anyway dont help or cant do anything. Or else all other ottawa applicants would have got their DM and PPR (or even MR) soon without much delay.

There were/are numerous emails by many other applicants on asking for status of application, status of documents sent, status of documents received on time, status of medical received, status after IP, status after DM, status to know when they will get DM, status when they will get PPR and so on. So asking on it is just not helping and they take their own sweet time to do it when they actually get to it to do it. Or else we wont be seeing 12 months of processing time and even 18 months of processing time for some candidates and would have got their MR, DM and PPR within days of our enquiries.

One sample: Almost 4 months of waiting for PPR.

Interview........: Decision Made --> 18-05-15
Passport Req..: 11-09-15

Another sample: 7 weeks of waiting for PPR.

DM on 23july2015
PPR on 10september 2015

Still some of 21 Aug DM guys are waiting.

This is not like few outland visa offices which does things fast to get everything on time. Dont worry. Its on the way.

I could get that you would be anxious at this stage but you need to wait. I see it as only one option which i mentioned before. Just call the call center to know the result and wait. You dont want to try calling them? Actually this will more quicker to know the approval status and enjoy your waiting time and let them whenever they could.

I think that first number is not accessible to us (outside canada). But it was said that it might work through gmail. So try through gmail first. If not i think the second number (US number) might work. I am using US number to call them. But i am not sure if this US number is blocked for outsiders. I think that it should.

Tip: Sometimes the agents tell the status. Sometimes they dont tell hence dont worry, call them again after sometime or next day. So call them 3-4 times to see if they can tell the approval status. As per one of the posts, early morning hours (around 8am EST) would be ideal to get an agent easily).

Phone number from earlier post:
1-888-242-2100 doesn't work if you are in US. At least it didn't work for me. Try 1-613-944-4000 and then a series of 1111131 (when asked to press a digit). This should take you to CIC representatives.
If you have GMAIL (no matter where you are) you can make free phone calls from google voice to the US and Canada.

More days in Las Vegas. Keep enjoying & Please don't move to Manila or Paris :P :P
