Hafza_jad: You mean you online status now has changed from "Application Received" to "Application Returned". Where did you then check the details of the additional docs and if if thats what SINP wants why is your status showing as returned? You might want to call SINP and check.

Hello everyone,

I just need an info for my cousin.

Is there anyone here who applied for PNP in Saskatchewan under Hospitality sector pilot program recently?
I was wondering, what is the actual timeline until nomination approval from the province? I know about the SINP web page updated timeline schedule, but I would like to hear from someone that went through the process.

Thanks

I have a couple of colleagues who are applying through the hospitality program in the SINP. One has had her application lodged since October 2012, and another has just had her job approved by the SINP after two weeks. I believe the timeline is now upwards of 8 months for applications lodged with the SINP following the approval of your job

Ok, thanks. I am more familiar with FSW and AINP than SINP so thank you for your quick response.

As from what I understand, after employer gets an approval from SINP to be involved in this program and gets an LMO for the position, the worker starts his/her work with the employer after he/she gets the work permit.

After six months, if permanent job offer is in place, the employer is the one who must apply for job approval (with settlement and retention plan) and (if positive) after that the applicant applies for SINP nomination which takes up to 8 months?

Once approval is given by the SINP for the job, the applicant must wait for the nomination before being able to apply for a work permit. The nomination letter is the LMO replacement, and is not available until you have been nominated. Which as mentioned could be upwards of 8 months.

Correct, after the employee has worked with the company for 6 months the company may then submit for approval the job specifications. As far as I'm aware with the Hospitality Pilot 6 months of work must be completed prior to the application being lodged

@ Dubrider

thank you for your clarification of this process :)
