Not yet as my counselor is saying that after additional documents they are also investigating about employers income and etc. also we are looking at 16-18 months before any nomination.

Your consultant is right because his stance is based on those applicants who applied by living in canada
For applicants outside canada ask him to give you at least 5 nominations as a proof and then lets see what he says

as I discussed with you, I got acknowledgment letter in jul,12, since nov,12 my online status is "application received", while those who got file number in dec,12 or before, their online status is "in process". which has very much painful, when I called to consultant, he replied that may be sinp has not appointed any officer on my file, while a person in this forum, he said that as per SINP people, sinp canot idle the files more than 6-7 month, they have to go for inprocess,...I sent email to sinp office last month they replied that my case is in process, & they replied me the same many emails which is send them almost after every month. I don't know why sinp has not changed my online status..........

on a realistic note ..........wait for atleast 8-10 months for any document request ( i am not talking about nomination but document request)

9-months have passed by and I am yet to receive any doc request. Applied Sept 2012 with approved job offer letter.

Why you wory about your status wait and watch God give you revord. You applyin Sep-12 but I apply in Feb-12 and till today my status is "I'm process" And it is not. necessaryfor SINP to asks for add documentrequests.Yes SINP ask your employer for new approv job offer letter after one year passed .So you wait and pray to GOD

if its IMM 5562 E then it is your travel itinerary for the last ten years or may be since 18 years of age

Hafza_jad: You mean you online status now has changed from "Application Received" to "Application Returned". Where did you then check the details of the additional docs and if if thats what SINP wants why is your status showing as returned? You might want to call SINP and check.

I sent my application in hard copy during April 2012. Got my file number on May 2012
I think checking status online is possible only when application is submitted online.
How can i check what is my file position?
Can anybody help me out?
