I will be celebrating my first birthday of SINP (Skilled worker category) in March 2013

till today no news at all ( not even for document request)

Did you call them and check with them. One year gone by with no update (document request etc) under skilled worker category is long.

Hi Windgust - When you say the NOC makes a difference, do you mean that the specific NOC Code matters or the skill matrix like (O, A, or B) matters when SINP is prioritizing applications for Skilled worker processing?

@ajevaemasumi, I mean to say NOC O,A or B. They r pick-up 1'st specially O-A that i believe, Also hear for couple of cases.

i submitted my application on jan 05, 2012 and email received to me on jan. 30, 2012 that SINP received my application

Next email came to me on jan 30, 2013 (means after, more than one year, to submit remaining / incomplete document.).

Hi,guys. I just got my nomination on February 5, 2013.
And I would love to share this good news with you guys.
I have registered this website and followed this post since I applied for SINP in July 2012.
Now it is time for me to share my timeline and processing details.
Hope my information below helps!

Here's some of my background information
I graduated outside of SK but within Canada.
I moved to SK in January 2012.
I got a job offer and started working in Saskatoon on January 16, 2012.
SINP policy changed on May 1,2012.(1920 hours for students graduate outside of SK)
By July 16,2012 I have worked over 960 hours.I started working in January which means the old policy still apply to my situation. I was eligible to apply.
July 20, 2012 to July 30, 2012, gathered inforation (Got my job approval form during this time, my employer was in good relation with SINP, my job offer was approved back in February 2012).

Application Submitted: July 30, 2012 (Online)
Application Received: October 26, 2012


Note: 88 days, almost 3 months for SINP to receive my application online.

Online application not recommended (at least for this year 2013, can not guarantee for the long term), I think SINP was in a transition to divert some of the applications to online application, just like CIC did.

***I got married in Saskatoon, SK on December 1, 2012.***
***I got my Marriage certificate on December 19, 2012, which I think was a miracle. Only 19 days, the secret was that I paid for the priority service (extra $30) and called in and complainted how slow they worked. Normally takes 4 to 6 weeks to get this in SK.***
***Updated application package with spouse information mailed out by Canada Post (Xpress) on December 24, 2012, supposted to be received by SINP by December 27, 2012. But the tracking status never showed it was received. SINP said no and went back to Canada post and back and forth, I was disappointed about Canada post and decied to sent another updated package out. (Acutually the package was delivered to SINP but I don't know this until Canad Post told my on January 21,2013)
***Second updated application mailed out by UPS on January 14,2013.***
***Package arrived at SINP office on January 15,2013 and I emailed them to confirm this and got email back to me same day.***
