Thanks taivoi. Of which date Did you mention the proof of fund for federal form? Was it identical to the date earlier mentioned in provincial application? Or was it updated? Vansask and n_1x , will you please share yours in this regard? That will be very kind of you.
Garu, Any good news this tuesday? Now you are the most senior among those who are dying to see 'in process'. Good luck guys.

Hi CRS, no change at all on my Ecas. I wonder if they have started processing 2011 applications yet....

Hi Simanto, for everyone's benefit do you mind sharing your timeline?

Hi Guys,

FYI... Processing times of CIC Singapore is now 14 months as of 26 July 2011. :(

Hi Garu,

i would advise you NOT to send them emails as it indeed slow down the application process.

Most emails are answered by visa officers who take their time away from processing applications to answering emails. Once their working hours are over, they are quick in heading back home.
So, sending them emails affects the applicants, not just you and me, but all of us.

Wait a bit longer, and hopefully, everything will be alright.

Hussain

Yes, my cheque was cashed on 21 Jan 2011. I am under PNP family stream.

Haha. thats a very common complaint of all new immigrans. Feel free to spend from your saving now. after a few days when you and your hubby will get jobs money will be booming and both of you will earn with full2 hands. just relax everything will go fine after a couple of months trust me!

hi guys, we landed, although we are here just for shortwhile, things are not in the positive side :( It is extremely expensive to live in Canada, we had a meal at Subway fastfood on the first day and it costs us $45 for 4 people! There are virtually NO JOBS at all for immigrants, except for those like night shift labourers at factory earning minimum salaries, some people we met told us they gave up hope to find a decent job and end up living on minimum wages job with no hope to break through unless they go back to school again. Find a place to live is not easy too, we cannot buy unless we have a job and have good credit history, renting cost around $1400 for a small flat that house the 4 of us. Without a car, we are like handicapped people. It is really not as a dream land as we thought but we will try hard and never give up! It is so shaky right now, my kids keep asking to "go back home" and money is running short.. I dont know how long we can last :(

When I applied it was 11, than it rises to 12 and now its 14 months. Will they start counting 14 months from now on for every earlier application?

It was 11 too when I applied and CIC Manila that time was 12 months that's why I choose CIC Singapore. For some reason, Manila is down to 11 months now while Singapore rise to 14 months :(. I even noticed some Manila applicant who got their MR in less than 6 months...

I'm now passed to 7 months and my ecas is not even in-process :(. What's going on with CIC Singapore???

I think you are in the wrong thread... we are here to share timeline (as the thread title suggests) not to criticize. Post somewhere else... sorry!
