Oh no...this is really a bad news for us! Does your agent has any idea why they are suspending visa issuance for PNP and when will it resume?

I dont know Garu, I myself also very panicking and disappointing! It has been 3 months since my MR submitted and no news, nothing at all and now this bombshelf come out! The agent only know that many cases with MR pending for different PNP program in this visa office due to further processing, no information on when the hold will be over

Finger crossed! Its disappointing for all of us. Hi, letina, thanks for clarifying me. Someone confused me telling after aor and before mr they ask for docs; for example, proof of fund. Anyway, lets hope for the best.

hey CRS, u're welcome, btw I forgot that for proof of fund, Singapore may ask at the time they request MR, for me they need to see 12 months transactions on my bank account but they do not request this for everyone as I know some people did not receive this type of fund request

OMG Garu!!! you are right, I called right away to my agent to check and they confirm the same, only thing is that not only NB but all PNP! :-\ :o :(

Hello guys,

I still see some people getting their visas recently on this filipinos' forum.

I hope that visa hold is just a rumor... I don't see any news on cic website related to it.

By the way... CIC Singapore processing times increased to 12 months while CIC Manila is down to 10 months.

Let's hope for the best!

Hello everybody,
Did anybody get any reply to his or her queries through email from Singapore CIC this week?
I didn't get any reply from that office trying twice.
Even Manitoba Immigration and Labor didn't respond to my queries which is unusual indeed.

Hi everybody,
I do hope it's just a rumor. Nova Scotia is actually working with the Federal government to double their quota in their nomination program.

As for CIC Singapore office, I just sent them an email last week to verify that I am sending the Right of Permanent Residence fee payment to the correct address. I was surprised that they replied almost immediately to confirm.

Dear n1x_r, In online status, what can one expect next to 'app.received'? Is it 'in process'? Please share your experience.

Hi CRS
"Application Received" means they haven't started processing yet. The application is put in a queue before it can be reviewed by the visa officer. In my experience, my application was received on Dec 2010 and the status only changed to "In Process" in May 2011. But shortly after that, they will be sending you the MR. What I am worried about is after MR, they stated they will contact you after 3 months but in letina's case, she had to wait for a much longer time.

Thanks n1x_r,
I think everyone of us is too unique to them. So they can play different games with our luck.

Hi Letina, did you get your PPR? How long is it from MR? Hope you'll get soon and the backlog will over for us who applied after you.

Hi Garu, nice topic posted. In last two months, I didn't find even 10 PNP applicants in total who applied to SVO(In this Forum). I just wonder how many PNP applicants are SVO busy with?

Hi CRS, I did my MR on 25 March and they received it on 29 March so it is about 3 months and I have not heard anything since then, they totally ignore my emails and they do not have a phone line so no way I can contact them. It is very disappointing to see people in Manila who applied many months or even a year later than me and now they landed in Canada while I am still waiting, so sad and feeling depressed each day

Hi Vansack, your application is with them more than a year already right? Did they send you MR yet? I suspect something is wrong with SG VO, maybe some staff are on long term leave or there is some VO that is super slow
