Passport has back to me! ;D

I requested to use UPS to return my passport to me, fill in the airway bill for them too. But at the end they still use registered mail to mail my passport back to me. No wonder it takes so long for me to wait my PP back.

The wait is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I got to move fast to do packing and preparing to move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck everyone!

Visa processing timeline is really a tough time for all of us. One of the thing that I learn from this experience is be patience. Another new challenge is waiting for me in Canada. Wish myself have a successful new life and same to all of you too!

Thanks for your wishes. I'm moving alone. Some of my family is in Canada. While some other still in home country. I plan on move there on December but my family said is super cool in Winnipeg on December. The temperature drop to -40 Celsius. Now busy with packing and looking for air ticket.

Have fun celebrating Christmas in Canada! Seems like 3 days after they approve your passport, you got your ECAS change to decision made. Did they give u a dateline on when you have to land?

Hi all!

I am new in this forum.
Congratulations to those whose visa application journey is over and all the best to your new life in Canada.

I am under PNP and my visa application was received by CIO on 5 Sept 2012 and AOR by SVO on 29 Nov 2012.

It's disheartening to see that processing in SVO is very slow and each quarter it seems like it is getting even slower. I hope this would improve soon.

Just checked my application online.. still "We received your application for permanent residence on January 16, 2012."

I applied under AINP economic stream. I am still working here in Calgary. I got my nominee certificate on Nov 2011. Until now still no news. Hoping.. Praying... Waiting....
