What is your nationality? And how many persons included in your application? They said if more than 1 person in the application usually takes more time to process, just like me, we are family 0f 4 thats why i havent receive any MR yet, MAYBE

You should receive MR by Dec or Jan next year assuming the old application are not subjected by the new processing time change (16months). Is your ecas still "application received" or in process now?

I just checked ecas now, unfortunately it is application received.

Now they are sending AOR pretty quickly... 2-3 weeks...

It included the existing applicants.. Read what it says in CIC website

Hi Guys, any update? in process? MR ? or PPR?

the processing time shows on CIC is average from last year up until now, but lately, it's normally takes only 9-12 months to get visa from the AOR date, so dont' worry about 16 months , it's rare cases. good luck for all of us.

One of my friends is hanging in "Application received" since 9 months. Losing his patience, he emailed to SG Vo and got replied as follows:
" File is still in active process."
What can one understand from such reply? Any Idea?
