i think your understanding might be wrong. i applied in Nov 2011 and it's gg to be 17 months. i dont see myself getting PR in 3 months time. I am not sure about getting medicals then also. seems like it's taking forever for sgvo.

I guess SGVO has an abundance of backlog or they were just lack of manpower to process our files. :'(

Submit Additional Documents to SGVO - March 12, 2013

In process - ecas change to In process March 19, 2013

Passport Request - received via email March 21, 2013

Submit Passport to SGVO - March 22, 2013

Decision Made - ecas change to decision made April 5, 2013

Received call from SGVO - April 12, 2013

Collection - April 15, 2013
