Thanks Tavoi for reply.
So please tell me what is my processing time now? 23 months from the date CIC confirmed to receive my Application?
Thanks for your adding my case at spreading sheet

processing time count from the date they received your application (showing on ECAS), i think processing time will be reduced soon (20 months perhaps?) each application has different timeline , some only need 14 months to get visa, some 23, or even more, hope you'll get MR soon bro.

How long will it take to process my application?

Processing times are difficult to predict. They vary depending on the type of application you submit and the number of applications currently being processed.

Please note that processing times change depending on the number of applications received and may change during the processing of your application. You can consult the processing times tables for details. This
section is updated regularly, so check often to get the latest information.

Everyone knows about this

hi guys, anyone here is under PNP Backlog reduction pilot program? pls share your timeline. i have chosen CEM as my VO to further process my application, however, CIO NS have forwarded my application to SGVO. Should i expect another AOR from SgVO before receiving an MR?

Any opinion will be appreciated.

btw, how did you know that CIO forwarded your application to SGVO?

hi blitzk, i have emailed the CEM and got a reply that my application has not been forwarded to them. so i decided to email SGVO, where i initially submit my application way back in 2007 and they advise me to wait for further instruction from SGVO. as a result, i assumed that my application is now in SGVO. so strange! I have chosen CEM as VO, but still trasferred back my application to SGVO to process it. and the processing times in SGVO is dragged out to 23 months compared to CEM (11 months). i am not sure whether PNP backlog applicant like us shall have to wait that long for them to process it. hopefully they will fast track our applications. good luck to us!

i see.. i do hope that they will at least make our processing shorter.. otherwise the backlog system they have introduced is useless.

there is one more here in SG similar to us. She is @tutut. She got her SGVO AOR after almost two months of receiving CIO AOR. So, hopefully your SGVO AOR will be coming in already this month :)

lets just hope for the best! perhaps this is our fate, to have a waiting game with the SGVO ;D. btw, how did u come up to know that SGVO is your visa ofis?

i really think it will be faster for us :) i have not received any email yet from the VO.. but my case might just be similar to you and we are a PR here so most likely they will also just send my papers to SGVO.

Hi ocir.b & blitzk,

Welcome to the waiting game in SGVO.
We're in the same boat. Im also under FSW backlog
pilot program. Just like you guys, i also
selected CEM as my visa office but they forwarded my
files here. I got my AOR from CIO last Nov 22, 2012
and since then no update for my application so far.

I inquired SGVO regarding the receipt of my
files but there's no confirmation yet after more
than a month. Not sure what's going on.

Good Luck and keep the faith.

Milsrome

Holy smoke guys,

Ottawa visa office is rocking with PPR :o :o

Applicants in this office is getting big PPR floods from this office just in about 6 months waiting time (even though it shows 13 months processing)

I guess new backlog reduction policy is really taking affect

Just hope Singapore VO will start to pick up speed like Ottawa as well.

Hello @milsrome, so there are now four of us here under the same boat :) I was really hoping that 2 months after the SGVO AOR we will get our MR. But it seems its not gonna happen. I really have to push thru with our plans to apply for OWP.
