me too I almost purchase a ticket before my wife got passport back but I didn't lol. And yes the longer you wait the higher the ticket fare is. By experience for Thailand 2 month in advance it's my windows were I got the best deal.

So I finally found Tom Richter's email and emailed him. His response was very short and quick actually.This was the reply

Thank you for your submission. Your application was reviewed and it was determined that an interview was required. As we are planning trips to Malaysia at this time, we will be in contact once an interview has been scheduled.


Still a waiting game. Anyone else had any luck in communicating with SVO?

What was their relationship profile like? Surely if the sponsor moved to Nam for a year they should of been in the interview queue? Lol..

My application submitted in April. I have received an email from CIC today mentioning an update on my application. Once i checked, there was only change in Background check from not started to not needed at this time.

A background check is needed : Not needed at this time (new update)


Please if anyone experienced or have an idea about this, share it with us.
