Extra information. My brother's friend sponsored his Vietnamese wife. They filed the application in late February 2016. They got a DM today. SVO at least approving some applications!

They got PPR yesterday.

Figure I would live through his experience since I am practicing potential interview questions and waiting for an interview date. I guess some good has come out of being in the interview queue. I now know her favourite color!!! JOKING!

I am not too sure Payel. I am sure others can share their experiences.

Used to be up to 2 years. Has been shorter recently. There are people waiting from May or June without a date yet. It's a guessing game really.

That is what I figured. Total crapshoot???

You would think they would have policy so that applications can be processed fairly consistently. And nobody should have to wait two years for an interview. Absurd!!!

I think I will wait longer due to the very low number of applicants from Indonesia. I think they will travel to Jakarta a lot less frequently to hold interviews.

usually background status doesnt change.
Imabule and htquatch did u guyz get ur all docs back from SVO? i didnt recieve any further email.

We did not receive the documents in support of our application back although the email for the interview queue said it was sent.

htquach got his letter by mail not email and received his docs with it.

for my exam purpose ill nt stay in bangladesh from december,15 to april next yr. donot know when they r gonna send me a DATE!!!
