Okay, I just checked my husband's eCas and found out that it has been changed to : "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concering this decision."

Is it a good thing or bad ? They didn't write visa has been issued. Are they going to ask for more documents? Does anybody know what does it mean? Please respond. Thanks.

His timeline says that SVO (Singapore Visa Office) has received his passport on Aug 19, 2012, not us. We sent and they got it. However, his eCas has changed to "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" today and that's what I was pointing at. We didn't say anywhere that we got the passport back.

It is over now. Soon you will receive passport back with visa. When CHC Dhaka was open took me 7 days to get back passport. You ask them return passport back via courrier or VFS. VFS agent takes around 30-40 days . For my friend it takes 35 days passport on hand after DM.

No, Kurt; I checked my letter over and over again but no where they mentioned that it would take two(2) weeks if you had sent it by courier. However, they mentioned that the passport would be ready in three (3) business days if it was submitted in person at SVO. Probably, the visa officer wanted to see my husband in person. How did she know that he is so handsome !!

I don't understand why Singapore delays more than 14 days now-a-days! :

shaheenaz: it is just over now for you. This is very generic statement on the ecas for everybody. Now you dhould be dancing in the rain. haha

Thanks, Mirjahan. Can we change the delivery service now? We sent it by VFS and in the PPR, SVO mentioned that if we send it by VFS, they will handover the passport to VFS once the processing is complete. If it's possible, how do we change it now? Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. According to the link, they might have made a decision on September 6, 2012 (14 working days). If everything goes well, he should get the passport back this week (if it takes a week in one-way transit, according to the website).

No that's not the same thing, that is for already PR and they need to travel but there PR card expired or lost , the visa office issue Travel document for those PRs. And that takes 14 days.
