Hi, again, everyone!

Thank you Shinny and Bold9900 (Congratulations to you too!) for replying my last post.

After a grueling and testing wait for 14 months, I finally received a package from the Canadian Embassy in Singapore! Even when I was holding it in my hands, I could not believe it. I opened it and found that they returned the photos we submitted and the rest of the emails, skype history, FB msges, etc. There was a form inside asking me to do a re-medical and to get a Police Clearance from Singapore and Australia (lived there for 2 years). THEY ALSO REQUESTED FOR MY PASSPORT!!!!

Also in the letter, it stated that an email was sent to me from Manila RMO on 31 Oct 2012 but, I never received it (weird right?). Although there's a note inside that states this letter is not a guarantee of attaining my PR, I am fairly confident and hopeful that I am 95% there. Also, to let you know, my status in ecas is still "in process". So, fret not, it might be on its way for some of you guys!

Thank you everyone again for sharing all your information. It has definitely helped me. The support you all have for each other is astounding! Do keep it up and I wish all of you well in hopes that you, too, will be re-united with your other halves soon! I'll post updates soon..

I want to shared my latest exciting news with you all, a very long journey of waiting & depressing finally have come to the end.

My time line from start to finish is total of 15 months:

- Application mail to CPC-Mississauga August 8th, 2011. ECAS= Application Received.
- AOR Received by CPC-Mississauga August 9th, 2011. ECAS= Application Received.
- File Transfer to Singapore November 7th, 2011. ECAS= Application Received.
- September 19th 2012. ECAS= In Process.
- October 8th 2012 requested from Singapore VO to re-medical, police clearance & submitting Passport.
- (Medical Received in Manila 11-5-2012) ECAS= Medical results have been received.
- November 13, 2012 My wife home address changed to my Canadian address and ECAS changed to "Decision Made"
- November 9, 2012 VISA & COPR Issued from Singapore Visa Office.
- November 25, 2012 Pick up VISA & COPR at IOM (Total of 17 days from issued to pick up).

I already booked the Flight tickets on December 12th and landing in Toronto on the 12th .

La lettre de Singapour que tu as reçue concernant les renseignements sur l'entrevue était datée de quel jour? Et ça a pris combien de temps pour que tu la reçoives (la date de la lettre et la date qu'elle est venue dans ta boîte aux lettres)?

Desoler je navais pas vue ton message avant. Le papier d'entrevue etais datee le 30 octobre mais il la recue le 13 novembre. d'ailleur il habite au village donc sa pris plus de temp que les autre qui habite dans la ville. Esperons par janvier tu aura le tien, c'est decouragent d'attendre si longtemp.Pour moi c'est la panique total lol jhate quil finie sont entrevue et savoir la bonne nouvelle.

Hi, I am currently sponsoring my wife over to canada. Singapore office has received my wife's application on March,17, 2011. Singapore Immigration office requested a DNA for my wife, son, and was handed in on june with positive results. Now ECAS has removed the address and added "We started processing NGUYEN THUY UYEN TRAN's application on November 7, 2012." What does that mean? No request for passport yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

lolll...witty u. Inshallah ur hubby will have a grt interview. Let him get in and sing a love song dedicating his girl. seeing his love fr u will make those interviewer grant a visa on the spot. I think ur the one after Mr. Mirjahan who took bunch of tensions regarding this immigration thing. Thats shows how much u wish to be with ur hubby. AMEEN...inshallah it will be smooth and successful. Just believe in Allah. Dont think of it too much. The more ease u will offer the more natural it would go. Panic and tension ruins it. All of the interviewe has genuine relation. When everything is authentic nothing to get worried. Just be confident and calm. ALLAH will help every one inshallah.
