Guys: I need your advice urgently. Your suggesion will be greatly appreciated.

My file was transferred to Singapore on 16th May 2012. Till now my ECAS only says application received. As you know few of our friends with same time line are getting approvals which makes me wonder whether the reason for me not getting the approval is to do with sufficient proofs i have provided during filing the application. During filing my application i have provided with wedding pictures, recent call logs, all kind of receipts, wedding cards, flight itenaries etc.

As i was in a 7 years relationship before getting married i have a lot more proofs which i could have provided. For some reason i didnt provide singapore with emails, skype chat logs etc which i guess was necessary to provide. I really regret that. I thought if the VO are very experienced and if a marrage is genuine so much details are not required. But according to this forum i can c every tiny details makes it easy for the VO to analyze the file.

I do have all the emails i exchanged with my wife when we were in a relationship from the last 8 years. I can try to get my phone carrier to get me all the text messages and everything we have exchanged too. After i filed my application i went back home thrice already in a span of 8 months to see my wife which also includes our honey moon. Do you think it is a gud idea to send Singapore updated package with proofs? or is it too late?

What is your application timeline? My file got transferred to Singapore Office on May 17th, 2012. Still it says application received

Application Filed: 3rd feb 2012
File Transferred to Singapore: 16th May 2012
Current Status from ECAS: Application Received, Medical Received

"All the people whos file went "in process" status did not have to face interview" is this true? Or there are people whos file went in process stage and then they were informed for an interview?

yes you could send singapore extra proofs so do it now cuz if you end up with a interview letter you wont be able to send anything but to bring these at the interview. So i suggest you to gather all the proofs that can support your relationship to singapore. Write a cover letter giving full name adress, uci, file number and all on it. And dont forget everybodys timeline is not same, some people got interview letter around same month as me but they applied after me. So you might get news anytime in the first year if interview is not required.goodluck

just dont worry. U will get a good news soon inshallah. Just keep faith on ALLAH. I have heard CIC reviews files based on their receipt. Our file is just in que. Lot of files have been moved at this phase of year. I think ours will come too. We are in waiting list may be. Just wish it gets interview waived. I can wait little more if my interview is waived than falling into the lengthy interview waiting list. You probably got my point.

Thank you Shiny for your kind reply.

You are welcome. :P

Thank Mehfuza... I can wait..I respect that they receive a lot of files and it takes time.. I just got a bit scared cause some people with the same timeline already got their PPR...but not us...if they work on a choronological way then we should get it too...so i wonder how it works...

I think they do random selections as well. Because even though I see people here waiting for 1.5 years or more to get their PR, I also heard friends who had their application processed within 8 months even though it says it says it takes 23 months.

I don't know how much it helps though. I have sent documents of my itinearary and other stuff to Singapore after my file was transferred there. Haven't heard from them about anything, nor even the receipt of the documents.

They do not send any mail or email to confirm that they have received your additional proofs even though they have them, maybe if you apply gcms note it might say that they received others prrofs or something. But if you put all correct info on the cover they surely have it otherwise the package will be sent back to you. If you didnt send enough prrofs with the application at the begining it might help to waive a possible interview.I wish i knew that before i received my interview letter...goodluck
