@ Shiny88 & alibaba_ctg

My wife's TRV interview they asked " why dont we have picture from honeymoon"?

Unless you have pictures from honeymoon make sure to give a valid explanation for that,

Dont worry much about pictures number, but make sure your spouse know details about you.

Your job, salary, housing address, phone number, how both of you met, i mean full details about you which is mentioned in papers.
If you dont have any pictures from an event , make sure you present the story nicely( why you dont have picture).

I know it is stressful,

wish both of you good luck.
thank you very much for your info(by the way i watched the movie silent hill few days ago not bad:P ) ill insert a memory device in my hubbys brain lol :)

Application in process? Interview required?

Hi all,

My wife application went in process last week. Based on your experience here, is there any chance that she may be required to the interview?

Thanks.

thanks for the reply, yes i do have picture with my mother in law that was taken in the village after marriage and some last may when i went to bd.Since our engagment was held at the same hotel we got married in dhaka, i cannot show a pic that doesnt look like a hotel lol. But we are ready to explain the reason we do not have eng.pic also why mommy in law is nowhere on wed pics too. I hope the officer knows our culture and religion and understand these things.

I could manage only 2 photos of our engagement. My wife was sitting weaing a yello Sharee. that's all.I even did'nt think of it....My Mother in law is also a very religious woman so she is not present in the photos of our wedding.

Maybe when you flled the app. you put last for first and first for last. Or it might be their mistake. However you should notify them to make the change.
Email: CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca (state your name, date of birth and (UCI) or file number which is at the top of the acknowledgment letter)
Call agents: 1-888-242-2100(Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m)

I dont know if your filed has reached singapore if it did you might wanna send ms to singapore specific inquiry as they are the one that will be dealing with the file once missisauga release to them. But i think you should let cic know first.

Hi Afrose, you must be very down now. What i would suggest to you is to email or call Missisauga as soon as possible to update them with the family change first:
Email: CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca (state your name, date of birth and (UCI) or file number which is at the top of the acknowledgment letter)(dont email them more then once it may delay more your app.)
Call agents on line: 1-888-242-2100(Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m)

And then also send Singapore a email on specific enquiry asking if they received your babys birth certificate:
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=singapore
(fill up the specific enquiry as if your spouse in bd is writing to them not you, they might not reply then ,few days ago i sent them an email on specific enquiry as if it was my husband asking them and they replied within 48hours)

The other thing is to check your ecas and click application received to see if theres any update.

Also if you want to apply GCMS notes to know what in the world is going apply asap you might know what officer wrote or the bring forward date, you might be able to see if they receive birth certificate.

By the way Congratulations for the new born, hows the baby it is a girl or a boy? I am expecting a girl=) and very close to my due date:D

Goodluck

Thanks shiny. My baby boy is fine. My husband already apply for my baby's citizenship in canadian high commission, dhaka. So still i have to email in cic? Few months ago i receive my caips it state that file is pending for review. Also last mnth my husband meet with coubcelor in high commission & ask abt my file but she gave no clue. Its 1.5 yr i'm waiying still no update. If i email to svo & ask abt my file status will they reply?

The status of my wife's application was application received since Sep 2011. It only went "on process" last week. So, I guess Singapore office is processing very slow now, waiting time my be more than 1 year to get to "on process".
