Hi. Someone told us that for express entry, the education should match with work experience. Means my education is Masters in Commerce and work experience of 13 years in the field of Administration, Admissions and Marketing. A consultant told me that the case stands rejected from the very beginning! Please share honest feedback!

He is a registered Consultant. Since this was my first meeting with him. I didn't asked him bluntly. But he was too sure about this..

It depends on your NOC. When you fill in everything after the ITA there is a section labeled "Occupation"

Date XXX first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada.
(For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states
high school, this is the date they graduated.)
(required)

For example NOC 3111 - Specialist Physicians has a minimum requirement of "Graduation from an approved medical school and specific specialty training are required." You obviously can't claim you worked as a physician if you don't have a medical degree.

NOC 0111 - Financial Managers "A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required ", that's obviously way more flexible of an requirement

NOC 0631 – Restaurant and food service managers "Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required.", that doesn't require much related to the job.

Check the NOC database, you must have at least the minimum required education for your NOC. In your case I'm quite confident that a Masters in Commerce will be enough for a job in Administration. https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Home/Welcome/c3ee16fa57644ecca2ae15b3e5c01868?GoCTemplateCulture=en-CA
Except in licenced professions like medicine, the educational requirements in NOCs are not actually legally prescriptive. The only thing you need to do is show you worked in a skilled NOC for the proper number of hours, and not be obviously unqualified to perform those duties.

this seems very funny.
A consultant told me that the case stands rejected from the very beginning! Please share honest feedback!
the consultant is trying to scare you, so he can charge more money from you.
Can you tell the reason for which it will be rejected(that he said)?

my suggestion is stay away from that consultant.

He said that the immigration would stand rejected on the ground that Education is not aligned or relevant with the work experience you have.
