Should I take a part-time job with a study permit?

I know it is allowed to do so.
But in terms of taxation, should I do it?
and when should I file my 1st tax? finished the course or based on calendar year?

thx

Personal choice whether you work. Tax years are January to December and taxes are due May 1st. Next May taxes are due forJanuary to December 2019. If you were in Canada for more than 6 months last year you need to file your taxes. You also need to declare your international income.

Thanks.

I got advises from others said that "you better file your tax after receiving WP" & "just don't work part-time even better" due to the complexity of taxation.
I am going to study for more than 6 months, so the best approach is to file the tax before May 1st? (the end of 2nd sem)

When did you start working?

you can work the 20 hours per week and more during scheduled breaks. You just have to pay taxes. You likely won’t make enough to pay taxes.

That's my concern:
My financial status (credit) will still look good even I didn't pat any tax for the year of work?
