Hey Guys,

I am a 19th Sept 2014 applicant. On medical request, I have already done my medicals almost a month ago (35 days to be precise). Do you recommend paying upfront RPRF since I havent heard anything since then.

I am observing on the forum that guys whose application date is after mine (one's who have paid upfront RPRF) have already received Ready For Visa mails. So was thinking to do the same. Kindly advise.

I would strongly recommend to pay the RPRF upfront...I am an example and it has definitely save me few weeks....Since you have got the medicals, you can be 99.9% sure that your eligibility is through...So there is no harm in paying the RPRF.....It might save you few weeks.....So I strongly recommend paying the fees upfront.....

hey,

see below instructions from cic about how to pay rprf, the website is:

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

Right of Permanent Residence Fee

We wish to remind you at this time that your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your spouse or common law partner, if you have one.

If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible, by following these steps:

ÿ Go to our Online Payment webpage

ÿ Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

ÿ Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

ÿ Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

ÿ Click “Submit”

ÿ Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa, American Express or Mastercard.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. Once the process is complete, please attach your receipt to an email, with your application number in the title, and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca

The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.
