i am sept 25 aor confused on mailing them and asking them about the status update coz they might give generic reply or should i wait for another 10 days to complete 6 months and then send them an email
My Aor is 14 Sep
I completed 180 days today. I asked my consultant to Raise a CSE. Lets see what and when they reapond.
I think you should wait another 10 days and once you complete 6 months, they will reply you properly regarding the status of your file.

hi,

i call them on Thursday, they said that they sent me PPR on the first week of Jan, but due to IT glitches i didn't get it so they re-trigger it again on Friday and i got it.

see how un-lucky i am, but thanks to all for help.
Congratulations!
I would be really mad if that happened to me, because I once e-mailed VO and asked them if there had been any known technical issues, to see if that was the reason for not having received PPR after 2 months in IP2. They replied "NO" and clarified that my eAPR was in the queue.

At the end of the day:
Let's be happy that your PPR was issued. ☺ I'm still waiting...

I'm waiting until March 30, when my AOR will be 6 months old. Then, if PPR has not been issued, I will raise an inquiry.
Good luck for all!

Well Got a generic reply from CIC after completing 6 months.

Good day,
Please be advised that the application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when the file will be ready for finalization.
We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.
Please consult our Website for information regarding our processing times:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp.
For your information, the processing times, provided on the website, is the average time it took visa offices to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during a specified period in the past. They may not accurately predict future processing times.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.
Regards

I guess theres no point in waiting 6 months either. Just mail them whenever you feel like. Seems Sep thread is dead af. ;)
These are tought times for all waiting. Need to be patient. I can wait another 5 months and hopefully share some good news in these upcoming 5 months.
