The IRCC request a police certificate in December. I sent and confirmed that they have received the certificate.
However, the "Background verification" status has stuck in "in progress".
Anyone has similar experience? Does that mean the background check in still on-going or the status would not be updated for some reasons?

Hello, just need some input from you guys. Out of everyone whose application is progress and did not get returned, is there anyone who applied after only 2 years as a PR with the rest of the time filled by their PGWP status AND had a trip or trips outside of Canada? How much extra days did you give? I’m eligible in a month. Became a PR in April 2024 but I had a couple of trips outside Canada since then. When would you advise me to apply for citizenship? Thanks.
