The police clearance was because I spent more than 5 months in another country.

I included a Police Clearance on my document but they requested anyway and I just submitted a fresh new Police Clearance.

Could not having a Canadian mailing address be an issue? The application allows addresses from 100+ countries. I moved to the USA temporarily and don’t currently have a Canadian address, but I have a valid PR and driver’s license with my previous Canadian address. I also uploaded documents like my passport and health card. BG passed, Notes show identification verification is passed, US police clearance passed

The GCMS notes also show my file was moved to further review for not having a Canadian address on file. What should be the next step—submit a web form explaining the situation, or ask them to use the address on my driver’s license? That address is still valid but was from a friend’s apartment where I used to live. Or wait for their updates?

Definitely submit a webform explaining the situation. Just proactively communicate with them. Give them proof of your canadian address and your new address. (Use your driver's license address for additional proof as well)

I submitted webforms on my own and added explanations and it was received quickly.

hey folks in the tracker the oath is scheduled for Apr 30, I havent received the invitation email yet, I cant take in-person oath, would it be possible to request for virtual ceremony.

Our ceremony was scheduled to April 28 on March 25 but the tracker was updated on March 27. We received the invitation email on April 9 (and tracker was updated on April 11) for in person ceremony. Maybe in your invitation email it will state that it will be an online ceremony. I think you need to wait for the email and then request a change. In the email it explains how you can do that and other details anyway.

E-certificate-- ready on April 14th
During the Oath Ceremony, the office asked if we had travel plan soon, we told her we had flight on April 22, she said they would process the e-certificate in Urgent even before we ask. This morning, the E-certificate is already available to be downloaded.
