They don't tell you what triggered the interview but my guess is that it was related to my extensive US travel history due to my work.
Interview in itself was very straightforward where the officer checked IDs and asked few regular questions about job, education etc.

LPP completed on March 5, 2026 but they updated the tracker on March 7, and this is when we saw it.
UPDATE:
1st Oath scheduled (In-person): 18 Mar, 2026--Had to reschedule because of travel plans
2nd Oath ceremony (In-person): 01 Apr, 2026--O Canada!!! ....Became the citizen on April Fools day!

I applied for Citizenship application on 19 Jan 2026. Mistakenly i paid 630 cAD$ fees, which used to be previous fees, instead of 649.75 CAd $.
I got an email on 27 March about missing information, when i log in to my application it took me to fees page. I immediately paid the remaining amount of 19.75 and upload the receipt. after that i saved my applciation. Question is
1. I dont see any submit button, except that i can save it
2. how long usually CIC officer check again if the fees has been paid or not and to issue me AOR

you uploaded the receipt but there is no submit button after that? i think save button would do the trick take a screenshot of the last status of that page or save it as pdf just in case. but you should be good.
hey folks in the tracker the oath is scheduled for Apr 30, I havent received the invitation email yet, I cant take in-person oath, would it be possible to request for virtual ceremony.
