So frustrating- My application has been stuck in LPP. AOR on December 8. I’ve had very limited international travel and have been in Canada for over four years as a PR. Background check is complete on 12/15. Anyone in same situation?

I have a lot of US travel related to work. I think that may have triggered the interview for me. I did apply with a lot of extra buffer days though.

thank you. it's been almost a week since my test but no update. i am just imagining scenarios on my mind and of course it doesnt help.. :/

i see. i am sure it is just as a matter of procedure. as i have read experiences of others who say they just asked a few questions on everyday things and they were all fine in the end. good luck!!

thank you! it was updated to completed today (3 march) (though it shows the update was on feb 27)

Does anyone know how long after the in-person test and interview, the next update happens?

Also what could be next update? Does it jump straight to ceremony? Or are there more steps?
Pls advise based on your experience.

Finally got my official invitation to the virtual ceremony. Thanks for all the guidance here folks and wishing those who are waiting all the very best!

Timeline:
24 September 2025: Application submitted

12 December 2025: AOR received (79th day).

19 December 2025: Tracker created, background check complete (86th day).

3 Feb 2026: Test Invite (132 days).

11 Feb 2026: Test completed successfully. (140th day)

20 Feb 2026: Language, Prohibitions, and Physical presence completed (149th day)

26 Feb 2026: Ceremony - In progress, date on 13 March! (155th day)

04 Mar 2026: Email received for the ceremony. (161st day)
