Congratulations!!! How do you check for upcoming ceremonies in a city? Finally got updates on the ceremony!
Timeline:
24 September 2025: Application submitted
12 December 2025: AOR received (79th day).
19 December 2025: Tracker created, background check complete (86th day).
3 Feb 2026: Test Invite (132 days).
11 Feb 2026: Test completed successfully. (140th day)
20 Feb 2026: Language, Prohibitions, and Physical presence completed (149th day)
26 Feb 2026: Ceremony - In progress, date on 13 March!
Waiting now for the email. I checked on the upcoming ceremonies in the GTA on the date and I don't see any, so guessing it is going to be a virtual ceremony.
Almost everyone's application is moving fast. My husband took the test on Feb 9 and his tracker was updated to test completed on feb 14 (though it is indicated as feb 12), and I took the test on feb 24, no update in tracker yet. no changes in LPP.
1- do they wait for all spouses to take the test to proceed with the application as a group? that is is it because i took the test late that we are now moving very slow? (as far as i read no, but wanted to ask about your experiences) also i have traveled for work and for family visit every year whereas my husband hasnt left the country, maybe my case will slow down his case too?
2- we both received 20/20 in a short time. does it cause them to examine things more thoroughly maybe? (as far as i read no again but i also read someone saying do not do 20/20 or they will invite you to in person test etc, so wanted to ask about your experience and views)
Thanks!
Same here. Applied on Sept 7 2025, LPP completed on Dec 16 2025, and then nothing updated. So frustrating- My application has been stuck in LPP. AOR on December 8. I’ve had very limited international travel and have been in Canada for over four years as a PR. Background check is complete on 12/15. Anyone in same situation?
#1 - I guess they will review the application individually but if you apply as a group that might delay the oath ceremony if one needs more time to review? not 100% sure tho.Almost everyone's application is moving fast. thank you for the assurance!Your application is already ahead than most of the folks. People are still waiting for their AORs or Stuck in LLP from past 4-5 months with no test invite. Trust the process. Things will be fine.
thank you. it's been almost a week since my test but no update. i am just imagining scenarios on my mind and of course it doesnt help.. :/#1 - I guess they will review the application individually but if you apply as a group that might delay the oath ceremony if one needs more time to review? not 100% sure tho.
#2 no I don't think getting 20/20 will cause them to examine things more thoroughly. My husband got 20/20 but it just takes 3 days to update on the tracker.
