That might be a bit optimistic. They are just releasing AOR for those submitted in the first weeks of August. I submitted mine on August 14 and I hope I will receive the AOR next week!

Hi all, I need guidance. I became a PR in august 2023 and now eligible for citizenship, however my passport expired in May 2024. I did not renew because I am not traveling out of Canada. Do I renew it before I send my application?

Hi there! I had originally submitted in july 2025, soon after submitting I realized that my husband’s passport had expired in july 2025. I asked chatgpt and it confirmed as “could be accepted”. However; got the additional document request for the expired passport in september instead of AOR. Hopefully they would accept yours, otherwise it resets the clock. Now i am still waiting for AOR.
