Hi just a quick question my gckey says "
Latest update:
Final decision - January 2, 2026:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made." Does that mean a full decision is already made or I'm still waiting for it. Because on my tracker I can't see any copr details.

You are likely marked "final review required" - next thing the case processing officer will do is to either issue you the approval email or have a second very high-level review done by another officer.

Worth knowing that GCKey and PR tracker don't have the same database, they don't reflect changes together, one can lag behind the other (depending on what workflow is in use by your officer).

congratulations

Plus, the flow that IRCC will likely go with:
1. Issue a PFL/ADR. At PFL/ADR stage, no decision is ever made.
2. A PFL leads to rejection -> Decision is made.

If OP has no PFL at this point of time, very unlikely for it to be a rejection.

Thanks guys. So everything goes normal I can expect the p1 mail soon right?

FYI, i got rejection last year after 6 months of waiting, no PFL no ADR just refusal (my eligibility was recommended passed)

I forgot what the case for your application was - was it NOC mismatch or something? Those do lead to no PFL and ADR sometimes and a few other issues lead to the same outcome too.

There are a few flows that lead to outright rejection, but they are a bit too rare. Anything pre R10 check is a direct cancellation, anything extremely obvious can lead to a rejection as well. But, I doubt we are looking at that right now as those are rather not that common.

not enough job duties in experience letter. but hopefully this application will be approved this week.

stuck here-

Final decision - December 3, 2025:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Yep, NOC mismatch is one of those things. There isn't enough ground for the ADR as the letter provided by the employer is usually considered factual. Some people do receive ADRs, but few get outright rejection. The rejection aligns with the idea that "material facts" of employment shouldn't change with time, but we've seen officer's discretion here often plays a bigger role. One of the biggest part of doing an application is that to have the duty mismatch shouldn't happen, if it does, your claims fail fast. Your eligibility being "recommended pass" only means that another officer was due to review your eligibility and they felt you never met them. "Recommended pass" is often pass, but sometimes it isn't. You are ACTUALLY "recommended pass" till you are either virtually landed (eCoPR issued) or land physically with a stamped CoPR because the assumption is that you can still fail eligibility before that (identity fraud, PoF failure, etc bunch of different cases).

For me I can see the copr details in the tracker now. So It's a good thing right?

It isn't a bad thing for sure! The assumption is that, rarely applications are refused directly. So, if you have no PFL/ADRs and you have had a decision made/CoPR details in tracker - it is all a good news!

Fwiw, I used to post these in each AoR thread back in 2024 to let people know what to expect, common pitfalls to avoid, etc: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...rd/threads/july-2024-aor.851220/post-10874647

I've reduced the time I spend on the forum as life's getting busier (plus these threads are dying too), but as Sonia mentioned, the NOC mismatch, PCC in black and white scanned, etc = outright rejection.
