What do you guys mean by ghost update?

No updates, online it shows last update april 8.
Does it show to everyone april 8?

I just got an update
Background check completed April 8th and another ghost update today. Everything else is still in process.
Hopefully invite to take the test is on its way

Always a silent spectator... Is it normal to not see anything in the ECAS? I received the acknowledgement back in Mid-December. When I check the status, it shows 4/6 categories in progress. But when I try to log into the Ecas system (assuming service3.cic...), it doesn't recognize my application number or UCI. I wanted to update my mailing address as I changed the province of residence. I am a bit lost here. thx!

Did you apply online? I applied online and my application wasn't showing up in ECAS either and apparently you can only track it on the new tracker

I did! and yes, this is where I see 4/6 categories in progress. Thanks for confirming

Update:
28 February fingerprint request.
1 Mar fingerprints taken (Fingerprint agency)
1 April fingerprints taken again (RCMP to make sure everything is good as no update sine 1 Mar).
5 April test invitation.
10 April test done.

Congratulationss,,,, same timeline for fingerscan and BG but no test request yet.

Gotcha, looks like their certificate is expiring today.

Read the Discover Canada thoroughly (Do not miss out the text in the pictures). Also there are simulation test from Richmond Library and https://hicanadatest.azurewebsites.net/quiz.
