Citizenship Application

Hi,

When applying for citizenship application I came across a question “ During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident.”

I have chosen yes for above and when filling the status expired date it is throwing an error stating “ this date must be before the date you become permanent resident “

Here is my story

My work permit expired in May 2021 and I applied for bridge work permit. Bridge work permit is approved and issued till May 2022, whereas I received my PR in 2021 oct .

Can anyone pls suggest what to do in such situation.

Your work permit automatically expired when you got your PR, regardless of the date printed in the document.
Just put the last day before your PR to satisfy the system and move on.
