Hi all!
I gave my interview from outside Canada on 13/06/2022 and it went well. The agent said if I wanted to take oath from abroad I will have to submit proof and she provided me an email address to send the proof and explanation to for them to make the decision.
today I checked my tracker and it says oath has been scheduled for July 4th
What I’m wondering is this: should I continue down this road or just take a flight and come home for this? My PR card expires in August so that’s why I’m worried.
I also checked online and flights and hotels/airbnbs are over $10,000 so that’s also a factor here.
Hey did you ask to do oath from outside Canada ?
Thanks

Same here.
What steps have you taken so far to try and get some info ?
Like contacting MP, GCMS etc.
I contacted my MP, first in March 2022, then in May 2022. All I was told is that all is in order and advancing normally. The second time I was told my application is still not considered late because CIC updated the processing time which is now at 27 months, I am in my 21st month now. 6 more to go unless they update the processing time to an even more ridiculous time.

I requested GCMS notes twice, the last ones I requested in early 2022 where it says that residency, language, and prohibitions are due by 13 January 2022. They are still in progress now. I did have a ghost update on the tracker on January 7, 2022. Might have something to do with it.

Yeah my MP does not respond. Written to him twice.
Webform gave me a generic response.

GCMS notes say Prohibitions, Language, Presence have not even started (Due date for all three was 13 January 2022 just like yours), even though my tracker says all three are in progress lol.

Yeah I doubt we will get any answers until the 27 month time.

Btw any idea from when they start counting down this average processing time ? Is it from the time they receive our file ? Or AOR ?
or since the date they say they started processing our files ?

Out of curiosity, in your GCMS notes to whom are your eligibility assessments assigned to ?
For me they're all assigned to RC-8090

Just contacted IRCC today, and they said they've put me onto the oath scheduling queue for Niagara office on June 10, with the oath potentially being scheduled soon. Does anyone now how long it'll take from here?

@rajkamalmohanram quick question. Read your oath experience. Do we have to send them oath form signed after the oath ceremony? From where we can download the oath form? Also can we pick up the certificate under urgent upcoming travel situations? TIA
