Your interpretation is correct, but there will also be a corresponding note in the last 3-5 pages by an officer.
Thanks for your response @legalfalcon ,

The following are notes on that are on top of note 5 (Case Analyst- REVIEW REQUIRED):

Notes: 1
Created Date: 2020/04/30
Updated Date: 2020/04/30
Restricted: No
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text: received: med proof

Notes: 2
Created Date: 2020/04/24
Updated Date: 2020/04/24
Restricted: No
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text: sent meds, and meds expired notice eDoc#:374054801 BF90 for med proof

Notes: 3
Created Date: 2020/04/24
Updated Date: 2020/04/24
Restricted: No
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text:

Notes: 4
Created Date: 2020/02/22
Updated Date: 2020/02/22
Restricted: No
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text: Final decision pending rework of PA's IMM Medicals. Request in process

My assumption is that the corresponding note is Note 4? Although not specifically mentioned, I thought this could be the note that shows the officer changing from Review Required to Passed as shown in Application: 9. Would I be right in that interpretation?

There is no officer's note. So the application 9 may only be by a case analyst / assistant.

Last question.
The Case Analyst recommendation for REVIEW was specifically to do with NOC as they specifically said, 'OFFICER PLEASE REVIEW NOC. IT APPEARS THAT THE NOC IS NOT VALID' under Note: 5.

Is it possible then, that the Case Analyst noticed their mistake in their initial position (before the officer could review) and hence the change under Application: 9 from REVIEW REQUIRED to PASSED?

Assuming that even if the note was changed, and the RR was removed, the officer will still have to review the eligibility and make a conclusive determination.

yes, this means your medical has expired, but they will most likely extend it for you. I had this message displayed on my account after my medicals expired in May and then they just updated it with an extension now.
I am in the same situation. But my GCMS note says my medical has expired (Since July28). How come your extension took time? Do I need to do anything to hasten the extension? Or I should just get another medical done? Cc @legalfalcon

You have to do nothing. If a remed is required, IRCC will ask you for one and if an extension is provided, the same will be done and reflected on your MyCIC account.

Hi guys. Just want some clarification. When we get the CoPR, how much time is given to us to allow enter Canada (given that there's no travel restriction)? Will it depend on the validity of the medical results? Asking this because we want to delay our entry as late as possible. Thanks!

Not all individuals in the application will go through security screening by CBSA / CSIS. Only those that IRCC believe need security screening will be sent to CBSA / CSIS. So it could be that the PA is in security screening and for other it may not start. What does the status of security on page 2 show?
On page 2, it shows the following:

Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV: (Blank)
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Completed

I see in the notes, Officer passed my eligibility and PA (me) criminality but requested biometric for my nonaccompanying spouse.

It could be that the biometrics may be holding up your security. Have you sent the biometrics?

Not yet. I am waiting BIL document from them, so spouse may submit the biometric.

Hello, @LaFontaine. For how long many months was your medical extended for? And how was the extension communicated to you, via your CIC account?

Yep, they update your CIC account. When your medicals are expired, the status under "review of medical results" goes to "you do not need a medical exam" and then when they extend it, it gets updated with the date they extended it on. Mine was extended on August 31st and my status now reads like the following:

Review of medical results
  • August 31, 2020 You passed the medical exam.
I'm assuming it's extended for one year starting from Aug 31st. I wouldn't worry, and I wouldn't do anything unless IRCC sends communication asking for re-medical. Good luck!
