Hello All,

I am in Toronto right now but I found a job in Montreal and my PR process is in pause because of current situation.
I got the PR Confirmation but I couldn't land.
So I want to know do you think it is illegal to be in Toronto and working remotely for Montreal?

Hi everyone! FSW, AOR- 17th Sep 2019, Just received my GCMS notes.

When my file was at CIO, Eligibility is - Not Met, however when the file was transferred to CPC Ottawa, Case analyst put eligibility as recommended pass. My file is now awaiting officer review. I assume eligibility " not met" is due to the fact that I've changed my NOC code after ITA.

Can you help me understand what does this status mean and if I need to provide clarification to IRCC or take any action right now?

Thanks in advance!
How did you know that your eligibility was not met? Did you call them?

Now I understand, I really wish you the very best. You might have to contact them again via webform to offer some additional explanation.

When I look at the 2 notes- the one querying your noc code was dated 2019 and the one saying recommended pass was dated 2020. To me, it seems as if your eligibility is now met. But probably you need a professional opinion

Thank you for your opinion!

@legalfalcon could you kindly give your professional opinion on this matter? I am sure, I won't be the only one who deals with this kind of situation.

I don't give any professional opinion here. Any comment I make or question I responded to is purely my opinion and does not give rise to any client attorney relationship.

I probably misused the "professional" word in my comment. By "professional" I meant "an experienced member of this forum". Apologies for the possible misunderstanding.

Could you post your question here and if possible also the extract from the note your re referring to

I am FSW-O, AOR 17th of Sep. Received GCMS notes today.

Should I worry about my eligibility "Not met" at CIO and if I need to provide clarification to IRCC or take any action right now?

Thanks in advance!

Hi!Does anyone know if they are still issuing PPRs ? Or has the proceeding being suspended?
It depends on the VO as different countries have different measurements to reduce the spread of the disease. My local VO basically stopped non-essential tasks and only working on emergency and "essential" tasks as per their announcement. I am assuming PR processing has stopped till they finish with this.

Sighhh
