Hello Everyone,

I have few questions, if anyone can answer than it will be awesome.

Q1) On the Physical presence calculate where it ask if you were present in Canada before you were PR, so I was international student and then got work permit so I selected International student but for work permit do I select Temporary worker or Temporary resident permit holder?

Q2) I am filling the form CIT 0002 for citizenship this is a question 13 on form. Have you ever had immigration or citizenship status in any country other than Canada, including your country of birth? The options are Country, Status, Date obtained, is you status still valid? . So do I write the name of my country of birth and status as Citizen by birth? also date obtained should I write my birth date and current as status is still valid.

Q3) Proof of English (question 15 on form) - Can I give my expired IELTS?

Q4) List all the name that you have used including name at birth, maiden name etc (question 16 on form)- I have not used any other name, so do I write my current name in this field or leave it blank?

Q 5) Additionally, I will be submitting the following document will this be okay or do I need to submit anything else as well:
Passport fist and last page
IELTS
Driving License copy
Health Card copy
Graduate certificate
PR card copy
CORP copy


I will really appreciate the help.

Yes, let's remove it for now. Might be a mistake. I double-checked and can't find any post from this user. So far I've seen three users report AORs, so let's keep it at that

are we assessed in Ottawa? two days ago there was a phone call from Ottawa to me. Unfortunately, i did not answer. it was starting with 613. when i try to return the call, it says the number does not exist. This is exactly the time CIC is opening my file. Any thoughts?

The way you describe it, I can certainly say that it's the CRA scammers trying to tell you that, you have committed a tax fraud and will be arrested if you do not pay $6000. LOL

Cic usually never calls, their communications are through mail (Canada post)

All three applicants who have received their AOR so far have on thing in common. They all have 1500+ days physical presence. 1509, 1673 and 1526.5. Not sure if that plays a role, but definitely makes determing eligibility easier on the assessing officers end. Let's see if that trend continues

isn't AOR is issued after checking that all the Eligibility is fulfilled as per documents and forms and attaching documents are complete? think Validity of data will only Be checked when in Process?

while, we are waiting for a wave of AORs starting Monday, I have another question.

I am tired with Canada. I am thinking of going to my home country for some time. Is it possible to arrange the test and the oath in the embassy or consulate? any thoughts?

Sorry, test and Oath are held only in Canada. However, you may leave and return when you get a test invite .
