This is not a condition, it is part of sponsorship as detailed here.

Spouse or your common-law or conjugal partner

Length of undertaking is three years after that person becomes a permanent resident.

I think you are thinking of condition 51 which your COPR may have as well.

Hey Maria,

In my GCMS notes, there was a section where it says undertaking length : 36 months. Do you know what that means?

Also, in your notes, does it say in progress? and did anything start for you? criminal and back ground checks?

Yes my notes say that :) ... That is standard for all spousal applications. We signed a 3 year undertaking.

I wish everyone Happy New Year

Happy New Year! everyone from Dave and Sherry :) Hoping that 2015 will soon bring us all out of limbo with good news regarding our applications and much happiness to everyone! 8)

Happy to all my September colleagues and I hope this month is our month!

Our eCAS was just changed to Decision Made.

Congrats! We applied on the same day so hopefully I'll get something soon..

Cmon Accra and Ottawa!

Still no news for us since SA and AOR back on Nov 13, and I the sponsor am the only one with a UCI # my wife hasn't heard anything yet herself. How about anyone else, and new news for us September guys and gals?

Nope nothing here and we got SA Oct 28th :-\ ... I have been following the Ottawa thread and it looks like the July applicants are getting DM in Ottawa. They seem to be moving slowly. Maybe because of the holidays.

I believe you're right Maria and now that all that holiday time is behind us hopefully they will get cracking again, hopefully! The start of a new work week for our CIC people tomorrow, lets have some good things happen! 8)

Still waiting to hear from Accra, and I got SA on Oct 27th..

I know the file is open, so any moment now hopefully.

Do you think No news is good news in this case? I mean if they wanted additional stuff, do you think they would've asked by now?

You should all be happy you received SA' I am still waiting for it! :'( Just trying to be patient.

I am sorry you still haven't received SA :( ... That is absurd. Have you kept bothering them about it? I would be on top of them like white on rice! ...

I think the lucky ones are the ones who applied in September and already have COPR or landed.

The rest of us have to wait with our thumbs up our bums. :-\ ...

I hope you hear something soon. *hug*
