My partner just landed! We went to Niagara Falls borders , had to walk to US side got paper (refused entry) signed COPR and that was it! We only needed passports to show. They didn't ask about his current status. He got PR before visitor extension!! LOL
He got condition 51 but we expected it. We are so happy it was incredibly fast we feel so lucky!!

there is no form. you have to send the visa office a copy of the bio page of your passport, and tell them your last name has changed.

Just checked the ecas and our status has been changed to "In process" as of December 23rd.

I got my GCMS notes last week and it says the medicals received, the RPRF fee is also received and proof of relationship provided (an Officer had this note).

It says the application is in progress in Accra since Nov 14 2014 but...

Criminality and Back Ground checks says NOT STARTED, but the due date for both of them was Nov 24 2014. The notes were generated on Dec 2 so maybe they didn't have a chance to update. Eligibility is also not started.

It seems like we should hear something soon since the due dates have passed and it's in progress for well over a month.

they mentioned it in their post. Its from their GCMS notes. You have to order those.

I had due dates on my notes as well but they had already been passed when I got the notes and nothing yet. So who knows if those "due dates" are accurate lol.. Oh I hope they are ..

Yes as Maria said, those are GCMS notes. You can order them online

If you're the sponsor then you need a consent form from the principal applicant signed and scanned back to you. It's 5 bucks and it takes about 30 days to arrive.

Maria, you and I have the exact same timeline..Sep 10 application filed and SA on Oct 27 for me. I pray for a miracle in January

I emailed Ottawa (changed my address to our Canadian Address) and received a response in 7 days. Someone else received a response in 5 hours. Why don't you try emailing them your questions and hopefully you will get an answer back soon. Best of luck.
