Mine also date changed from 17th Feb 2015 to 30th Jan 2015(AOR Date)..

I am waiting for my Medicals and my current WP is getting expired in Feb, 2016.
I am getting married this month.
Can i apply for a visitor visa for my wife and will there be any rejections because of my short WP validity?
Also, my wife is not working. What ties can I show to CIC if I can apply a visitor visa for her

I was in a similar situation a year ago. I applied for visitor visa for my wife and it was approved without any issues.
My wife didn't work as well. We just provided documents that shows that I will support her financially during her stay in Canada. We didn't really send any ties with back home.

Do you guys have an idea, how much time adding a spouse will delay the application?

after i got my Application number, i went to my country and I got married, then i came back and inform CIC and did all the paper work as requested. i added her about one month after I got my Application number.

cic is changing the Processing date to AOR received date. i personally believe that they would considered the 14 months time from the date we received our AOR.

I would say the 14 month processing time starts from the AOR date. Usually all Sep applicants have a AOR date of Feb.. So it starts from Feb to 14 months. We are looking at around Apr to start getting MR. As now the processing started dates are changing reducing to 15-20 days, so we will be getting it little earlier compared to April. But still long way to go, as the processing time can increase to 15 month or so... just a rumor floating around...have to wait and see. Hopefully we will have some positive turnover after elections.
Read in a August Post. Aug'14 has only 4 or 5 MR request received while Express entry has been clearing approx 3 per day and it has reached around Aug'15. So there is a big gap and hopefully someone will be answerable to the delay.

I agree, 14 months from aor, but this "14 months" is for the whole process to be completed, so unless, we will receive medicals, approval and rprf all at the same time, my guess is decemeber / jan for medicals.. fingers crossed

Just adding information i saw at Aug'14 thread



Are we on a normal processing time.

It took around 420 days for other applications to complete fully.

But we are not received MR itself, this timeline is reached already.

As we are legacy for CPC, now it is anxious and stressful.

MR received in last 3 months driving crazy. Very unlucky us.
August 2015 --> Only 2
September 2015 --> Nothing
October 2015 ---> So for only one

Good estimations. My estimation is January to April 2016 for MR and August to December 2016 for PR, making processing time 16 to 18 months after AOR.

Just received my GCMS notes. It has:

Final:

I am a September 24 2014 applicant.
Everything is blank, except criminality is in progress and Security is not started. Is this a good assumption that nothing has been progressing in a while, and it will be very looong from now to receive PR?
