I think it doesn't affect the process. As long as you have the Option C with your application, it will be ok.What's important is for CPC-M to see that your sponsor has means to provide for you when you arrive there. Even an unemployed person can sponsor a member of the family as long as he/she can provide an explanation how he can provide the needs of the sponsored person once he/she receives his/her PR status.

You say he has plans to move out meaning he hasn't yet? If so I don't think there is nothing to update. Plus the SA part of your application should be done pretty soon. From what I see you are already 22 days in.

We even dont know if they've checked our papers already or what coz no acknowledgement coming from them aside from the the tracking only that we have from the courier.

It's like our version of BIR's Income Tax Return. Option C is given out by Canadian Revenue Agency...hehe

We even dont know if they've checked our papers already or what coz no acknowledgement coming from them aside from the the tracking only that we have from the courier.

I think the sponsor should check his spam folder on his email.

Or maybe your SA and AOR will be given at the same time. Have faith! It will be fine. ^__^

yeah msalvaro i got what the option C means...hehe
my hubby included that in the package

we've checked the spam already coz im the one opening hes email to check...hehe but it wasnt there
but yeah finger cross..hope we recieve it SOON either AOR/SA.. but much better if its SA already...hehehe

I've added the email addresses which end in cic.gc.ca and international.gc.ca to my wife's and my email whitelist so that emails from CIC never go to spam. Worked so far.

Based on the CIC website (see below) it says 23 days is a average time for Assessment of sponsor. If you don't have an AOR today, I would call next week to see whats going on.

It just showed up in my husbands mail with a letter. It was recieved on the 16th, the letter was dated the 19th, we got it on the 23rd.

So could they still return for a missing signature or missing form? That is basically what I am asking. I know it doesn't mean I have been approved to sponsor, but I am just wondering at what stage can I stop worrying I forgot something and the package will be returned

I assume they check the application for completeness. I would assume once AOR is sent put the will only ask for additional documents in case something is still missing and not return the complete application for resubmission. I'm not sure though. This is just my opinion

Maybe some more experienced board members can help.
