ZNMD, my spouse and I found Dr. Martin Taylor to be kind and fast, and he uploaded e-Medicals instantly as soon as we were finished.

That was in June. I've gotten everything including PPR since, still waiting for COPR.

Last September I order my CGMS notes and found out My application was in review, because of the job duties not matching title and salary did not match title either. The mistake was due to my employer ignorance who was not aware of HRDSC matrix. he gave me a big title thinking it would send more professional when I would approach clients

I was devastated...so much sacrifce to come to "that resul"...3 years of my life...

As a last hope I sent an updated reference letter thinking they would not even consider it :'( (as many said in this forum) and every day I was checking my ecas note or this forum to put my mind at rest, I was literally expecting an negative answer anytime...

Today I checked my email, see an email from Immigration Canada with no subject line other than "please do not reply" and a simple message : please find enclosed a document" I thought "here we go I got a refusal" and what a surprise when I saw the medical request!!


And at the end I got MR today

So thankful to God!!
Still it's not done I am aware of the fact that anytime they can come up with any excuse to refuse it

Dont lose hope for those who get their application in review, if it's about issues related to NOC or Duties or Salaries try to get an updated reference letter from your employer that fit exactly their description using HRDSC matrix

Of course you cant lie or make this up just ask your employer to follow strictly HRDSC

I received the medical request the next day and completed my medical. Also I paid the RPRF fees online. Now as my doctor said, it would take 10 days for them to upload with e-medical and my wait has started again. Let's see when I receive my passport/bio-data request.

So that took about a month after PPR, about two months after paying RPRF and emailing biodata. I had hoped for faster turn-around but I suppose a month past PPR is what it takes these days. Now to figure out if I should just fly home to visit my ailing father and "land" when I fly back in to Pearson. But hooray! COPR, I could kiss you!

Finally I have received RPRF and medical examination request today. They also want a Police Certificate from my country. I already did an upfront medical exam two months ago and sent them the form that the doctor gave me. Do I need to go to the same doctor again and have the form (IMM1017E) which CIC sent me today completed by doctor?

Perhaps no reason. I applied with a spouse accompanying on open work permit, and some have speculated that applying alone would be faster, but possibly it was merely random.

Hey Everyone,

Yesterday I received an email with the title "Ready for Visa Letter", it asks for my passport and 2 recent pictures! My e-cas status still shows "medicals received". I already paid for the RPRF and sent bio data a while ago. Does this mean that my application was approved?

Nice to see September 2012 applicants finally crossing the finish line, congratulations to all!

My spouse and I went to Niagara Falls and landed via Rainbow Bridge on Nov.9. All went very easily and smoothly. Thanks to all who provided advice and reassurances.
