September 2012 Applications

@ infoseeker & rest who are interested - i'm not in toronto, but i'm in the gta, so i went to kw's clinic. The place is pretty nice, cause the blood test, x ray location is in the same building. I believe a public health clinic is at that location, hence all the medical facilities there. P.s Not sure if ohip can be used or not, i know for a fact that the doctor's consultation fee doesn't, but i didnt take any chances for the blood test/xray, i wanted to make sure i get the receipt (What's weird is i got a bunch for test done with my family physician and ohip covers it, lol)

@ alexpritie - the info for photo measurement is passport size. But i believe the ones you used for the application would work as well. Correct me if i'm wrong.

CEC Medical exam

Folks,
Need some advice about medicals.

I did medicals for my FSW application last march 2012 which is still in process with no progress.I have the receipts copy with me and also sent them to cic once before. There was no response then.
I have the tracking number and other details with me.

I could receive my medicals request for my CEC application any time now.Considering both my FSW and CEC apps are linked now in e-cas,do i need to do medical examination again or can i send the same receipts to CIC.Will they reconsider?Please suggest me what would the best thing to do in my situation.Thanks!!

Medicals are only valid for one year so you will have to redo your medicals once you receive the MR.
 
I saw an article in cic.gc.ca that says medical validity can be extended for in-canada applicants for certain cases.

But may be to avoid more delays,it is better to redo medicals in my case.Thanks Sashali1978

Based on history, how long does it take to get the passport back after it is requested by CIC? (Assuming you send your password right away)

Anyone has any idea what are others criteria they check after you receive a medical request.Once you get medical request is it confirmed to get the PR.Anybody can put some light in it.
