Got my AOR today as well 8)
Application fowarded to Ottawa.

now the hard part!
Knowing that my application is only one block away from my apartment. I walk by there every day and can't do anything about it

Thanks. No, my AOR does not say that its forwarded to a particular visa office (say Ottawa). It just states "Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing".

@Jeruz: can you confirm that your AOR specifies the visa office?

My CIC status is showing "Application Received" for last 25 days after receiving VO File Number and CC charged. Has CIC started processing the application.?

@ jewelincrown: My AOR didn't specify the Visa Office it was sent to, but I think we can be pretty sure it's sent to the Visa Office you specified on the Generic Application Form for Canada (under the field 'Immigration Office Requested for Processing this Application'). Remember, even though the applications are sent to the CIO, we should not write CIO on this field...
